Location

Blue Marlin Cove is located on the West End of Grand Bahama Island and is approximately 60 Nautical Miles from the Port of Palm Beach, Florida and is accessible either through the Port of Entry at the West End Customs (if arriving by water) or Freeport (if arriving by air).


Attractions

Air Service

It should be noted that Grand Bahama Island is serviced with multiple daily flights provided  by major US airlines. The major US airlines servicing Grand Bahama include, Air Tran, American, Continental and Delta. Other carriers servicing Freeport include Bahamas Air, Lynx Air, Canada 3000, Western Air, as well as several charter aircraft fleets based in Florida and the Bahamas.

Blue Marlin Cove Anglers Club was designed with busy fishermen in mind and opened last year with popular response. It's a private gated community which offers the owners and guests all the amenities that a fisherman and his family would expect.
 


This community of 29 residences, designed for easy living, containing 1100 square foot units with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths complete with a spacious great room / dining area, full kitchen and laundry room. The condominium can be purchased with a furnished package if desired and also includes an assigned 40’ slip in the private marina. The gated and well constructed building offers a large owner’s storage closet on the same level and parking space with 24 hour live security.
 
Blue Marlin Cove is located in the heart of world class fishing grounds. In 5 minutes from the channel the water drops to over 1500 feet to provide some of the best fishing grounds around. Terrific bone fishing waters are a mere 15 minutes away and represent the best of both worlds to any angler.

Blue Marlin Cove is only 56 NM from Palm Beach, Florida and is accessible by boat. If arriving by boat, the 24 hour Bahamian Port of Entry and fuel dock is only 3 miles away. If arriving by plane, the Freeport International Airport is 30 minutes by car with several flights per day connecting to many major airports in Florida and the US. Currently, the Condominium Association provides complimentary airport transfers to facilitate any owners or guests travel.


 
The private marina fulfills all of the fishermen’s needs with a commercial ice house, 2 professional fish cleaning stations, 15 amp power to the docks, lines at every piling, under-dock night lighting, commercial community kitchen, gas and charcoal grills, game room, wireless internet access, a lounge and  a large patio area complete with pool and spa.

The property and marina is managed 24 hours by the condominiums on site manager who can arrange for many services that owner or guest would request.


The Condos

The versatile and comfortable floor plan means that the condos are roomy, livable and private. Each condo has  a gourmet kitchen, two bedrooms each with full en suite bathrooms, powder room, living room, utility room and private balcony or patio. All of the interior floors are tile. Reinforced Concrete Construction
These high quality condos have been built out of reinforced concrete to the most current Dade County, Florida building codes and standards by the prominent builder, FES Construction, LTD. The construction has been supervised throughout by a prominent South Florida Builder.

Purchase and Title Information
Title to each condominium is provided to the buyer and it insured by First American Title Company one of the largest title companies operating in the South Florida area. Conventional financing is available from both US and Bahamian banks. The property will be managed on an on-going basis by the condominium association.


Amenities

There is a swimming pool and hot tub along with a poolside cabana and patio for relaxing. The patio is landscaped to provide a lush tropical feeling for your relaxation. There you will find several tables and chairs for socializing with family and friends. There is a ground floor common area that houses a game room and lounge. Inside the game room you will find pool tables and commercial arcade games for the whole family. There is also an office area with a PC, fax, and complimentary wireless internet service. In addition to the comfortable accommodations there is an assigned slip in the marina for your vessel in addition to an assigned parking space for your car.

The property is a walled, gated, and secure limited access property with a property manager who lives on site. In addition there is a CCTV system that is connected to the internet so you can view the property and your boat from any place that has internet access.

 

Marina Slips

Each slip is assigned to a condo and is fully transferable if the condo is sold. The marina slips are 15 feet wide and can typically accommodate vessels over 40 feet. The harbor is a private harbor that caters only to Blue Marlin Cove Condominium owners.

There is a bait and fish cleaning station at the marina. An ice room with a commercial ice machine is available for the owners exclusive use. Shore power, lighting  and fresh water are also supplied to the slips. The channel has six feet of water and is easy to locate and navigate.

The yacht basin is large enough to maneuver a boat in excess of 40 feet. The ocean is only two minutes from the marina dock.
