The lot is approximately an acre with on the street/canal side a 209 x 255 ft deep.

A Prestigious Mansion situated on the fabulous Grand Bahama Island

This peaceful exclusive mansion in Freeport at the Bahamas is located just 70 miles off the coast of South Florida. By yacht, only 10 minutes at idle speed to the open Atlantic Ocean with a canal depth of 7 to 9 feet water at low tide.

The building consist of the main house with 4 floors, a courtyard, a magnificent swimming pool and 2 detached guest houses. All the windows have imported heavy duty impact hurricane resistant glass with thermo pan. Besides has each window an hidden rolling shutter which mostly will be used to block the heath of the sun but also protects the windows from the first impact by hurricanes.

Four Story House Features

The first floor (crew and staff quarters) at ground level features:

  • 3 separate bedrooms or crew quarters for staff, butler, etc.
  • a dressing room in mosaic tiles for the pool guest with integrated shower room, bathroom and dressing table
  • 2 separate tiled shower rooms and 2 lavatorys
  • 2 laundry rooms with installed washers and dryers
  • A separate working kitchen with 2 storage rooms, a tool and work room

  • 3 extra rooms to use at your own discretion

The second floor on the north side is divided in:

  • 1 living room with a full wall cabinet in maple wood
  • 1 dinning-room with a massive granite table and feet, seating 10 people
  • a main luxurious kitchen in maple wood fully equipped with European appliances of “Miele”, such as steamer, espresso coffee machine, oven, etc.

The second floor on the south side is divided in:

  • 1 room which can be used for receptions
  • 1 room which can be used for lounge or buffet room
  • 1 family room or projection room
  • A luxurious bathroom with all walls in full Black pearl granite and a state of the art lavatory with full automatic lid and seat, heated with wash & drying capabilities automatic flushing and with remote control shown this year on the news at CNN .
  • All rooms face the canal side and have French doors with access to the covered terrace along the whole length of the house.

In the middle there is a breeze way with the main entrance door at the front and a 7 foot wide double door at the back, which gives access to the terrace where, and by use of a majestic staircase, brings you down to the swimming pool.

The third floor is divided in:

  • 4 master bedrooms. Three of them have access to a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the canal. The fourth one is facing the courtyard on the street side.
  • 4 T’ai Ken super deluxe bathrooms, imported from a high class interior designer in Brussels, Belgium, Europe and contains cocoon egg shaped Jacuzzi.
  • 4 separate original shaped showers with high European quality plumbing fixtures, a convenient double vanity in teak.
  • A large library in dark teak from the floor to the ceiling to put over a thousand books. With private Lavatory and vanity.
  • Above the breeze way on the second level there is a large and spacious place which can be used at your own convenience as an office, entertainment room.
