Dear Bahamians and Friends of The Bahamas,
In commemoration of the Thirty-fifth Anniversary of Independence of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, it is with pleasure that I extend an invitation to you to attend the Annual Church Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration.
The Service will be held on Sunday, 13th July 2008 at 3:00pm, Mother African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Zion Church, 140-6 West 137`th Street, (between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr., Blvd.), New York, NY 10030.
The Reverend Yvonne Collie-Pendleton, Associate Pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Roosevelt, New York, will be the guest speaker and a number of musical guest artists will perform.
I look forward to fellowshipping with you on Sunday, 13th July as we celebrate our country’s 35th Anniversary of Independence. A Reception will follow after the Service in the Church’s Hall.
